Sexual Assault

There are many types of sexual violence, including sexual assault, child sexual abuse, and intimate partner sexual violence. Sexual violence is any type of nonconsensual sexual interaction and can happen to anyone, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender, gender expression, religion, ability, or sexual orientation.
Sexual violence can have psychological, emotional, and physical effects on a survivor. These effects aren’t always easy to cope with, but there is support available to help manage them.
