Hours: 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday

*Subject to variation based upon assignment and on-call status

Pay Grade: Commensurate with experience and in accordance with bargaining agreement

Description of Duties and Qualifications:

 The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is accepting applications for the position of County Investigator. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assisting in trial and case preparation; conducting a wide variety of criminal investigations; responding to crime scenes; interviewing victims, witnesses and suspects; making criminal arrests; testifying at various court levels; preparing and submitting written reports; providing assistance and support to Assistant Prosecutors in the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office; and completing all other assignments as required. The candidate must be able to interact with local, State and Federal law enforcement agencies.
