Executive First Assistant Prosecutor
Gina Pfund
EFAP Pfund is currently tasked with various executive functions within the PCPO including Community Engagement and Staff Development. EFAP Pfund has been a member of the Prosecutor Camelia Valdes' Front Office Team since January 2018 and was promoted to the position of Executive First Assistant Prosecutor on July 10, 2021.
Prior to her current position, EFAP Pfund served as an Assistant Prosecutor in the Domestic Violence Unit from 2001-2017 and served as Chief Assistant Prosecutor from 2009-2017.
In September of 2017, EFAP Pfund became the Chief Assistant Prosecutor of the Sexual Investigations Unit where she supervised all sexual related crimes not prosecuted by the Special Victims' or Domestic Violence Units. The prosecutions included Internet Crimes Against Children, Human Trafficking, Endangering the Welfare of Children, and Megan's Law Offenses.
EFAP Pfund received her Juris Doctor Degree from New York Law School in 1997. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey in 1990.
