Hero for Children Award CAP Chris Freid October 22, 2022
Chief Assistant Prosecutor Chris Freid (retired) received the New Jersey National Children's Alliance (NJCA) Hero for Children Award at the NJCA Heroes Walk/5K held on October 22, 2022. The award is presented annually to a member of a NJ Child Advocacy Center/Multidisciplinary Team who has been influential in raising awareness about child maltreatment and has made significant contributions towards promoting the best interest of victims of child abuse, as well as providing quality advocacy for children and families.
CAP Freid, former Chief of the PCPO Special Victims' Unit, was selected based upon his career commitment to the children of Passaic County who have been subjected to abuse.
We congratulate Chris for his continuing mission of tirelessly working toward the goal of justice for all children.
